Checking out a Church can be pretty nerve wrecking at times. At DIVERGENT CHURCH Gungahlin / Belconnen we want people to feel 'at home' from the moment they arrive. Each of our Church locations have some minor differences so far as parking and common service structure so make sure you check out the details below

Once you find parking & make your way to the entrance, our building is called FIVE FIFTY.
Feel free to grab yourself a coffee and often even a croissant. Meet someone and get ready to worship with us.

At Divergent Church Gungahlin, Children and Youth are not the Church of the future, they are the Church on now. Our heart is to see them thrive in their faith
Our Sunday kids and youth communities cover 3 - 14 years, with additional activities in addition these for Youth outside of the Sunday.
We also have a parents room with feed of the service

The Thomson family has a passion to see people live on mission as family, seeing the kingdom extend into every sphere of life
They have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 son.
WORSHIP
At Divergent Church Gungahlin / Belconnen we love to worship God through singing and music, be equipped through the Bible and be inspired by one another to continue in what and were God has called us to in everyday life.

Food/ Coffee
At Divergent Church Gungahlin community is our heart and nature, even 'at church' we love to hang out. Our services are structured but casual with great food and coffee and time to connect. We believe in the significance of community and food helps (don’t worry there is also healthy stuff in their as well).
Music
DIVERGENT CHURCH AM Churches tend towards a full band environment and are lively and passionate (though we do have special acoustic 'chilled' Sundays),
Our afternoon / evening Churches normally a more acoustic chilled vibe.
We love music because it is the language of the soul.
Preaching/Teaching
A Divergent Church Gungahlin we have a team that preaches around our wider Church on a regular basis. This team helps to bring different gifts, life experience and style
At DIVERGENT CHURCH, we believe in the word spoken both with relevance and conviction, never compromising the counsel of God. It is the word that is the foundation of everything we do in life.
Sermons at DIVERGENT Church operate under a number of different methologies from Topical to Book series.
We do not hold any methodology to be sacred, the word itself preached with clarity, in its context and with conviction is our heart and intent.
Team Leadership
We have great leaders in Pastor Josh and Angela Reading but as a Church we also wholeheartedly operate with a wider Pastoral Leadership team that serves our gatherings and church as a whole. In each gathering are specific Pastoral Leaders that care for and lead that gathering.
Through the week
You can also connect with crew at DIVERGENT CHURCH through the week in different small groups (Life Communities) around the city. Wherever people love to be is where we love to meet - Cafés, Work, Uni. If you are interested give us a buzz or ask at Church.
CONNECT
At Divergent Church Gungahlin we have a brief 'half time break', a chance to grab and coffee, connect, pray and be family.

Divergent Church Belconnen gathers at 5:27pm at 17 Walder St, Belconnen.
